Age 89, on June 14, 2021. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Ellen Jean (Hunt). Loving father of Kathleen Flohr-Shea (Dan), Edward M., III (Kate Arcurio), Robert J, and Joanne Natale (Keith). Grandfather of Eddie and Tara. Dear brother of Bernadette and Gerald Jeffrey (Jeanellen). Uncle of Jesse Flohr and Jenna Flohr (Alex Taylor) and "good old Uncle Eddie" to the Burke and Hunt nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Edward M., Sr. and Cecelia (McGuire), sister Patricia Brandon (William). Ed was a graduate of Central Catholic High School (1949) and a Korean War Veteran. He was a pressman for the Pittsburgh Sun Telegraph, Pittsburgh Press, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the McKeesport Daily News for 42 years and a longtime member of SS. Simon & Jude Parish. Ed enjoyed family dinners followed by a good game of cards.
