Ed was born October 7, 1934 in Eastern, PA. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Taylor and two sisters: Mary Elizabeth Unterkoefler and Rosalie Hall (John), and many nieces and nephews. Ed attended West Philadelphia Catholic High School. Following graduation, he entered the Brothers of the Christian Schools, a Catholic teaching congregation. Ed graduated Magnum Cum Laude from LaSalle University. He continued on to attain graduate degrees in Religion, European History, Education Administration. Then he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova Law School. Ed taught at West Catholic High School, Philadelphia, and at South Hills Catholic (Seton La Salle), Pittsburgh. He was presented an award by Seton LaSalle last year for continued support at that school. Ed practiced Law at the Legal Office of PA for 18 years, and then private practice until retirement. He remained active with continuing education and Parish Religious Education. Ed's great avocation was drama. He acted in high school, then taught drama and continued for 40 plus years to join in the fun of community theatre productions. He cherished every single friend and acquaintance and poker game. He frequently remarked that: "God has been Good to We Sons of Irish Peasants.!" No visitation.
