Edgar L. Kochka

Age 88, of Green Tree, passed way on Monday, April 6, 2020. He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Louise Kochka; loving father of Diane (Lawrence) Perry and proud grandfather of Kayla and Calvin Perry. Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Columbia University and the University of Pittsburgh. He started his career at Mellon Institute, and he worked as a materials engineer at Westinghouse Advanced Energy Systems for 30 years. After retiring from Westinghouse, he worked for Ebara Solar. Ed will be remembered as a kind and gentle man who dearly loved his family. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
