Earl D. Utz

Earl D. Utz, age 80, of Scott Township, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, Bruno and Valeria (Brodnos) Utz, and his brother, Clifford Utz. Earl is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Funtal Utz; brothers-in-law, Joseph P. (Patricia) Funtal of Bradenton, FL; and Dennis (Marilyn) Funtal of Brookline. He was a loving uncle to Joseph M. (Beth) Funtal and their children, Rockwell, Ian, Liliana and Kazimir, of Bradenton, FL; and Amy (Matthew) White and their daughter, Rachel, of Scott Township. Earl attended  McKeesport High School, graduated from Robert Morris College and worked at ALCOA for 33 years. He was the Salary and Benefits Administrator in the Building Management Group. After Earl and Nancy accepted an early retirement, they worked for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Guest Relations. They enjoyed theater, movies, concerts, dining, travel, baseball; but, most of all , they enjoyed getting together with their family and friends.
