Douglas A. Lawson

Age 81, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Arlene (Jones) Lawson; children, Jennifer Rodgers (Jim) and Doug Lawson; granddaughter, Caitlin Rodgers; brother-in-law, Casey Jones (Loretta); best friend, Paul Daniels (Kathy); and by many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Douglas worked at LTV Steel as a water plant operator for over 30 years.  He enjoyed art and drawing sketches and working with his hands.  Douglas was a big fan of old movies.  He was a great family man, a loving husband and the best dad, who will be greatly missed.

All are welcome Monday, August 21, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, 412-563-2800. His committal service will take place Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 11:30 AM in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 509 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon.
