Dorothy Widener

Age 80, of Mt. Lebanon, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023.  Beloved daughter of the late Leo and Cecelia (Siecinski) Dzik.  Loving mother of Douglas Scott Widener.  Dear sister of the late Jane Mahokey and Leonard Dzik.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Dorothy was a para legal with Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX and retired from Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Law Firm, Pittsburgh.  Dorothy was an avid biker, loved to exercise and enjoyed fashion.  She was a big Steeler Fan and will be missed.  Family and friends are welcome 4-8 p.m. Thursday, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800).  Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. Friday, in SS Simon & Jude Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish.  Interment in Chartiers Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations may be sent to Pancreatic Cancer Care at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
