Donald J. Weiland

Age 94 of Overbrook passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was a graduate of Carrick High School. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in both the Army and Merchant Marines. He retired from the US Postal Service with over 25 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, loved to play golf and was an avid Steelers fan. "DJ" was devoted to his family and would always bring his unique brand of wit and humor wherever he happened to be.

He is survived by his daughters Sandra (William) Hunt, Donna (Bruce) Floyd, son Robert (Donna) Weiland, grandsons Jeremy (Candy) Jockel, Ian (Tiffany) Floyd, Erik (Heather) Floyd, Russell Floyd, Jacob (Jessica) Weiland, granddaughters Chelsea Hunt, Sarah Hunt, Emily (Bradley) Hood and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Irene, his father, Jacob, mother Marie, sisters Pauline and Rose-Marie.
