Don was a retired employee of the Duquesne Club, where he worked hard for many years. He was a generous man and an inspirational figure in many young neighborhood kids' childhoods. He would host and play neighborhood ball, have penny hunts in his yard, treat all of the kids to ice cream and try to keep kids safe and out of trouble. He touched many lives and will be remembered fondly. He loved to collect many things throughout the years including, magnets, trading cards, coins and movies. He would help anyone in their time of need, no questions asked. He took pride in his yard, garden, home and most of all, his family. He had a special bond with his fur babies, especially his bestbud, Taffy. He told the silliest jokes, that sometimes didn't make sense, but his smile and laugh were contagious. He enjoyed listening to du-wops from the 50's, annual family trips to Kennywood and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He will be deeply missed by all whom had the honor to know him.
