Age 87, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Guy V. Tavormina; loving mother of Guy S. (Dee) Tavormina, Joseph Tavormina, Gina Schlott, Beth Sapienza, Robert (Val) Tavormina, Daniel Tavormina and the late Sandy Hesson; sister of the late Arthur, Ray, Elmer Kneib and Rita Freund. Also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great- grandchildren; five great- great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Family and friends welcome Monday 6-8 p.m., Tuesday 1-8 p.m. WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington 15211, (412-381-3345). Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Mount Church Wednesday 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
