Dolores J. Nolton

Dolores “Dee” J. Nolton, 92, of Scott Township, passed away peacefully in her home on March 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 20, 1934, in Mount Washington, Dee spent more than 80 years in the community she cherished and proudly called home.

Dee will be remembered for her spirited and sassy personality, her fierce love for her family, and her tradition of making homemade chocolates, which brought joy to all who knew her.

Dee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bud” L. Nolton, and her parents, Holly and Lawrence Bockstoce.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Petraglia, Leslie (Wayne) Grant, Tammie (Mike) Petris, and Bill (Carol) Nolton; her 11 grandchildren, Michele (Josh) Silvis, Melissa Petraglia, Patrick (Lauren) Petraglia, Matthew (Shannon) Grant, Kayla Grant, Ryan (Jillian) Grant, Heather (Tony) Musolino, Cortney (Mike) Cornell, Nicole (Nick) Vincent, Cory (Brittany) Nolton, and Kera (Tyler) Simko; and her 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom she dearly loved.

Friends and family are warmly invited to celebrate Dee’s life at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A brief service will be held at 7:00 PM.
