She also tried out for the New York Metropolitan Opera. After marriage and children Dolores utilized that beautiful voice and became active in SS Simon & Jude Choir. She also belonged to Christian Mothers for many years. Generosity, compassion, strength and kindness were she strong traits as well as her unfailing faith in God. Dolores loved to cook and bake. Always trying out one of the hundreds of new recipes she would come across in a magazine or paper. Dolores volunteered (baking) for Meal on Wheels on a weekly basis and had volunteered at Marian Manor. She was always ready to help anyone (especially her family) in anyway she could. Dolores was the absolute definition of a good woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We will miss you mom, but until we meet again….SLAINTE'.
