Dolores Bianco, age 86, of Robinson Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband of 57 years, Joseph S. Bianco; her parents, Michael and Anna Fratangelo; and her brother, James M. Fratangelo.
Dolores will be missed by her loving children: Anna, John (Mary), Michael (Diane), Dolores Ann (Mark), and William (Sharon); grandchildren: Nicholas (Rebecca), Justin, Joseph, William (Amber), Gabriel, Samuel, Josh, and Hanah; her great-grandchildren: Grace, Nico and Ava; and her cherished cousins: Katie Fulton and Doralee Fitzhenry. During her final years, Dolores was lovingly cared for by Melanie, Mary, Linda, Mary Ann, and Kathy.
A wonderful cook and baker, Dolores loved welcoming family and friends around the Sunday dinner table and her Christmas Eve feasts and Christmas cookies were enjoyed by all. She was a passionate ice hockey fan, especially the Pittsburgh Hornets and Penguins. Dolores was a graduate of Elizabeth Seton High School, and an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She worked as a bookkeeper for the American Standard Company and Allegheny County Prothonotary's Office.
