Diondré “Dre” Ellis Farris

Born Nov. 21, 1996, passed unexpectedly Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the age of 26. Dre is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Nancy, paternal grandmother Chickie and paternal grandfather Bill. He is survived by his maternal grandfather Russell, mother Elizabeth, brothers Tyler Jr (Cortney), Tyrelle (Katie) and TaeShaun and his nieces and nephews Katriel, Lola, Harlan, and Morris. Dre also leaves behind an extended family too numerous to name. He was known as a football player, a rapper and music enthusiast, a trusted friend to dogs, and an accomplished cyclist. He will be remembered for his compassion, his intelligence and deep thought, his beautiful smile, and his good soul. Family and friends welcome Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, WM. SLATER & SONS.
