Demetrios “Jim” C. Patrinos, of Bethel Park, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was the loving husband of Kathrina “Tina” E. Patrinos (Dunfee) with whom he shared 37 years together and 30 years of marriage; son of Gregoria “Ritsa” (Rempas) Patrinos and the late Chrisanthos Patrinos; father of Chrisanthos and Demetri Patrinos; brother of Sarantos “Randy” and Evangeline “Lisa” Patrinos; and uncle of Nicholas and Chrisanthos Marshall. Demetrios is also survived other extended family and friends. He was a 1984 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992. Demetrios also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and the School of Medicine where he specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He operated his own practice for over 20 years. Demetrios was an avid shopper, traveler, and watcher of college and professional football, especially his Pitt Panthers and Steelers. Above all else, he loved his family and friends and was known to be very generous. Family and friends welcome Thursday, October 6th and Friday, October 7th, from 2-8 PM, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220, (412-563-2800), where a Trisagion service will occur Friday at 7:00 PM. His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 8th, 11 AM, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 123 Gilkeson Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 with friends being received after 10 AM. Interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to the Holy Cross Agape Fund at the above church address.
