David Douglas Vurdelja

49, of Reston, VA, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, PA, unexpectedly on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Beloved son of Nicholas and the late Eldred Vurdelja. Brother of Stephen (Michelle) Vurdelja. Nephew of George (Marge) Vurdelja and many extended family members who will mourn his passing. He was a 1983 graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School, 1988 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University obtaining a degree in Industrial Management. He was currently the Senior Project Manager for Sprint. David was deeply involved in his church the Unity of Fairfax Church, Toastmasters Champion, Masters Swimming Program and other charity and community support programs. Funeral Service 12:00pm, Saturday, Mt. Lebanon Cemetery (Mausoleum Chapel). There will be no public visitation. A public Memorial Service will also be held Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, in the Unity of Fairfax Church, 2854 Hunter Mill Rd, Oakton, VA, 22124.
