Age 70, of Beechview, on Friday, April 7, 2017. Beloved husband of Katherine (McDonough); dear father of David M. (Cara), Donnie and the late Dennis Gerster; loving grandfather of Kate, Ken, Alyssa and Aaron; brother of the late Dan Gerster; also survived by nieces and nephews. Dave was a Vietnam veteran serving with the Navy and the Army. He retired as a mailman with the USPS.
