David F. Brash III

Age 66, of Whitehall, peacefully passed away after a prolonged illness on Monday, April 21, 2025. Son of the late Rita M. (Cushing) and David F. Brash Jr.; loving husband of Deborah Brash (Reid); beloved father of Jacob R. Ward (Julia), Gordon A. Brash (Brynn), and Kathryn J. Brash. He is also survived and loved by many friends and family members.

David achieved many positions throughout his career including Chief Trial Judge United States Air Force, the rank of Colonel upon retirement from the United States Air Force, and Administrative Law Judge for the Social Security Administration in Pittsburgh, PA. His dedication to the service of his country was reflected in his life’s work.

David was proud to call himself a Pittsburgher, and was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports. In his free time, he also enjoyed attending concerts with his children, and following the musical pursuits of his sons, as well as his daughter’s endeavors as a studio artist.
