Age 92, of Scott Twp., on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. (Welsh) Belisario; devoted father of David Belisario (Leanne) and Kathleen Oldaker (Michael); cherished grandfather of Ryan Belisario (Dylan Sullivan) and Kristen D’Angelo (Nicholas). He is also survived by his sister, Edith Twigger, and was preceded in death by his siblings Josephine, Joseph, Mary, Sue, Grace, and Anna. Dan leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Dan devoted nearly four decades to a career in education within the Pittsburgh Public School system, including close to 25 years as principal of Langley High School. He was known for his deep commitment to his students, whom he treated as if they were his own children. Dan served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his service, he graduated from Duquesne University and then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education. Dan found joy in staying active, reading, and taking on home projects, but his greatest passion was always his family. His legacy of love, dedication, and service will live on, and we are comforted by the belief that he is reunited with Pat in eternal rest.
