Connie Black

Born Constance Mary, age 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by mother, Dolores; father, Charles Hickey; as well as daughter, Charlotte; brothers, Charles and Robert; and loving husband, Perry, with whom she spent 62 years. Connie is survived by her son, Bernard "Bernie"; daughter-in-law, Celinda; and granddaughter, Brenna; as well as many extended family and dear friends whom she loved. Connie's enduring commitment to family and generosity towards loved ones was unmatched. She was an avid supporter of the arts, and frequent patron of the River City Brass Band, Pittsburgh CLO, Ballet, and Opera. She also enjoyed dancing, shopping, card club, and Irish culture. Connie will be remembered for her genuine spirit and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
