Age 87, of Bethel Park, on Wednesday September 15, 2021. Beloved son of the late Mildred and Clarence Schillinger. Preceded in death by brother Paul (Mary) Schillinger. Survived by nephews Andrew (Amy), Paul (Krisanne), and Matthew, cousin Joanne (Dave) Schaub and Bertha (William) Schillinger. Kim was deeply loved and cared for by his second cousin Jeanne Lias, and a great friend to her husband Allen for many years. Kim is also survived by the dearest and most devoted of friends Frank and Pam Arianna. He served as an usher at St. Thomas More Church for over five decades. A graduate of St. Vincent College, Kim was a lifetime loyal alumni and supporter. His career in insurance spanned many years with the Hartford. Kim was blessed with a great sense of humor and deep devotion to animals. He was an avid traveler who explored the world boldly on his own as a young man and later with loved ones. Kim also enjoyed acting through his involvement with Stage 62, Reader's Theatre and others. He was an avid reader and lifetime fan of Pittsburgh sports. He will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to know him. Memorial contributions may be made to Brother's Brother Foundation of Pittsburgh. At Kim's request, there will be no viewing. He will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA with a private ceremony.
