On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, Clara, age 92, peacefully returned home to the Lord surrounded by her devoted family. She was born February 22, 1928. Clara was preceded in death by her beloved husband William in 2004. She was the sister of the late John Ezdebski and Frances Pokryfka, Walter, Stanley and Joseph Wiech; daughter of the late Zigmund and Stella Ezdebski.
Clara is survived by her loving nieces and nephews Gina Drapala, David (Kathy) Drapala, Karen (Wayne) Dilla, Christine Wasylik, Marlene Yospyn, Joanne (Rich) Hurey, Sandra Krivonyak, Michael (Debi) Wasylik, Charlene Scheuring and Carol Stein. Beloved aunt to the late Nicholas Drapala and late great-niece Kristin (Drapala) Ritter.
Clara retired at 72 after a remarkable career as executive secretary for The Hillman Company and also as a legal secretary at Reed Smith Shaw & McClay.
Clara always enjoyed the family parties and holiday get togethers. She loved visiting with her great nieces and nephews and viewing their pictures on her digital picture frame. With a love for working outdoors in the yard and garden, Clara cherished all things pertaining to nature. She especially adored her cats. Clara loved to bake pies (especially cherry and apple) and made homemade applesauce that was always gone in a flash. She was a good listener, was always willing to help and most importantly, was interested in you and what was going on in your life. Clara would go out of her way to help anyone, and will be sorely missed and fondly remembered for her tough as nails spirit and warm, caring ways.
