Christ Romanias age 81 of Pittsburgh, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. Beloved husband of Bonnie Romanias for 56 years. Dear father of Chris Romanias, and Mark (Lori) Romanias. Brother of Tina Fekete, Kathy Warren, Nick (Helen) Romanias, and the late Mike Romanias, and the late Billy Romanias. Grandfather of Nick, Tyler, Sam, and Charlie Romanias. Chris loved his family and was a true friend to so many. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Chris routinely spent time with friends, both those he knew from his early years in school on the Northside as well as those he met through business and pleasure. Anyone who knew Chris knew that he loved life. He spent many days watching and supporting his grandkids playing sports. He loved being the "organizer" and every year, one of his great pleasures was organizing the Romanias family picnic. He would joke that "he had a system". Chris truly was an entrepreneur always looking for the next project. After he left JC Penny Company, where he was a manager of several different departments, he was involved in several business dealings with family and friends. One of those businesses was the creation of his children's Christmas book that could be individualized for each child. Chris loved traveling and would arrange trips every year to spend weeks during the winter in Florida with family and friends. He made trips to visit family members and kept in touch with them. He liked to tease and joke with you and had the ability to talk to strangers and quickly make new friends. Chris was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
