Age 74 of Green Tree, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Beloved wife of 48 years to Thomas R. Bakin. Loving daughter of Charmaine (Craig) and the late W. Frank Yon. Loving sister of Cathy (Rick) Benfer, Claudia (Mark) Rawls and the late Carol (surviving spouse Roger) Morel. Beloved daughter in law of Gloria (Weiss) and the late Joseph F. Bakin. Cherished aunt of Brianne Stevens, Robert Sagan, Nicholas (Melissa) Ezerosky and Nathan Ezerosky. Also survived by great nieces and great nephews.  Cheryl was the owner of Parkway Florist for 37 years and served hundreds and hundreds of Weddings. Cheryl also served the Green Tree Borough as Chairman of the Planning Commission as well as being past president of Pittsburgh Florist Co-op delivery service.  Family and friends welcome Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 4-7 pm WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE ( 412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220. Funeral service Thursday 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church , 80 Bartley Rd, Pgh PA 15241. Private family burial to follow at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
