Charmaine Patterson

Charmaine Patterson, age 88, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Patterson. She was a devoted mother to Shawn and Lance Patterson and a loving grandmother to Delaney Patterson and Cooper Bernardi-Patterson. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Karen Patterson, and her son-in-law, Andrea Bernardi. Charmaine was a cherished sister of Joseph Edgar and the late Brenda Dunois.

Charmaine was a devoted parishioner of St. Margaret of Scotland Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, where her faith guided her life and the way she cared for others. She found great joy in simple, meaningful moments, preparing meals for those she loved, tending to her garden, and traveling to new places, always eager to make memories along the way.

Above all, Charmaine cherished time spent with her family. Whether gathered around the table for a home-cooked meal or sharing quiet moments together, family was the center of her world. Her warmth, generosity, and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, PA 15220 (412-563-2800).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, St. Raphael the Archangel Parish. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
