Charles H. Smith, age 89, of Scott Township, PA, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, peacefully went from the loving arms of his family to the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Beloved and devoted husband for 67 years of Judith A. Smith. Cherished father of Scott (Norma Jean) Smith, Lisa (late Marc) DeCello, Leeanne (Craig) Schweiger, and Chad Smith. Adored Pap of Matthew, Benjamin, Luke, Olivia (Brandon), Lydia (Craig), Maria, Caleb (Esther Joy), Sophia (Peter), Raaker, Maria Hope, and Julia. Great Grand-Pap of Grayson, Asher, and Judah.

He is also survived by his siblings Henry (late Susan), Geraldine (late Edward) France, Patricia (late David) Shelpman, and Theresa Smith, sister-in-laws Patricia Cavanaugh Smith and Patricia O’Leary Smith, and many nephews and nieces.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Gerald, brother and sister-in-law John and Joyce Augenstein, and grandchildren Joseph, Joshua, and Naomi.

His Catholic faith was extremely important to him and he was very active in various ministries at Our Lady of Grace Church.

He was self-employed for many years, owning 2 businesses, Three Rivers Supply Co. and CS Supply Co.

He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and in retirement, he discovered a passion for golfing and painting.

When he was not pursuing these interests, you could find him in a bleacher or a camp chair cheering on his grandchildren at one of their many sporting events.

Friends and family welcome on Thursday, June 11th, 2026, from 4-8 PM at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220. (412) 563 - 2800. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 12th, 10 AM, at Our Lady of Grace Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish, 310 Kane Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15243. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery
