Catherine E. Sekely

81, of Bethel Park, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Bertram F. and Marie (Sweeny) Rivet Miller. She was married 53 years to Dennis E. Sekely who died in 2010. Catherine was a long time member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin RC Church in Whitehall. In addition to being a loving mother and homemaker, she was employed as an administrative assistant by American Credit Indemnity, now Dunn & Bradstreet in Pittsburgh for over 25 years. She will be lovingly missed by her children: Sandra M., (Joseph A.) Napoli, Pittsburgh; Cathleen A., (Anthony) Cena, Brooklyn, NY and David T. Sekely (Rose) of Elizabethtown, PA; five grandchildren: Laura A. (Gregory) Coordes, Heather M. Sekely, Jonathan R. Napoli, Meghan E. Sekely and Annabella Cena; one sister Anna Marie Condon, Columbiana, OH and a daughter in law Kristine L. Sekely. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 from St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin RC Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh at 1:00 PM. Viewing will be held on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors, 112 Fort Couch Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241. Interment will take place in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
