Carol Ann Covi

Age 67, of Carnegie, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Beloved daughter of the late August D. and Janet (Coyle) Covi; loving sister of Cynthia (William, Jr.) Griffin and Cheryl (Jeffrey) Stephan; dear aunt of Caitlin and Ian Griffin and Jeffrey Stephan II; lifelong friend of Beverly Bateman and Richard Marshall; also survived by her aunt, many close cousins, and wonderful friends. Carol Ann retired from US Airways as a reservationist. She was currently a councilwoman in Carnegie and very active in politics. She also directed the Carnegie Children Community Events and organized the Halloween promenade, Christmas Santa Comes to Town, and many events for children. Carol was a dedicated member of the Democratic Committee of Allegheny County. In spite of her disability, she was extremely active and full of life. Carol Ann was devoted to her family, friends, her community, especially the Carnegie Police Department.
