Carl E. Palitti

Carl Edwin Palitti, Sr. from Stahlstown, Pa and Sun City West, AZ died after a brief illness on Monday September 11, 2023 in Sun City West AZ. He was the son of the late Henry William and Bertha Johnson Palitti of Glen Willard PA. He was also preceded in death by his sister Frances Palitti, his wife of 43 years, Sydney Oliver Palitti, and daughter Laura O. Palitti. He was a graduate of Ambridge High school. He later attended the Memphis academy of fine arts in Memphis, Tennessee where he earned his masters in fine art. He is survived by his sister and brother in law Patricia and Reverend Steven J. Myers of Glenshaw, PA his son Carl Edwin Palitti, Jr. his wife Nicole Palitti, granddaughters Sophia Ann, Julia Rae and Anna Lucia of Blauvelt, NY. He is also survived by his daughter Patricia Palitti Bennett, son in law Charles and grandson CJ Bennett of Cranberry Township. Carl was a truly remarkable individual who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp. 15220. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, in St. Stephen Luthern Church, 55 Forsythe Rd, Scott Twp. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Pittsburgh Opera Development Office, 2425 Liberty Ave, Pgh, PA 15222 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis Tennessee 38105.
