Brian Charles McBride
January 17, 1970 – April 21, 2026
Brian Charles McBride, age 56, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his wife and children. Brian was the beloved husband of Nichole “Nikki” L. McBride (Runde), with whom he shared 28 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories. He was a devoted and proud father to his three sons, Matthew, Mikey, and Mason McBride.
Brian was a lifelong advocate for the outdoors and character building. An Eagle Scout himself, Brian’s legacy of leadership was realized when each of his three sons followed in his footsteps to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. His commitment to the community was a hallmark of his life, whether he was leading Mikey’s Pack 65 Cub Scout den or mentoring young men on Troop 65 camping trips and outings.
When he wasn't scouting, Brian could often be found in the garage or at the grill. An avid collector and enthusiast of classic cars, he spent countless hours restoring and maintaining his vehicles. He was also a master of the smoker, famous among family and friends for his brisket, chicken, and pulled pork. For Brian, there was no greater joy than entertaining loved ones and sharing a meal he had spent hours perfecting.
Brian was the son of the late Charles Patrick and Joan Andrews McBride and brother of the late Kellyann McBride. He is survived by his aunts, Lynn Andrews (Artie Rice) and Kathy Andrews, his in-laws, Joseph and Karen Runde, and his brother-in-law, Kevin Runde (Tera), as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
