Age 96 of Whitehall, PA, formerly of Beechview on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Betty was one of six children born to the late Joseph Cochinella and Leah Groah and grew up in the Northside of Pittsburgh. She was the beloved wife of the late James Pearce and a dearly loved mother of Richard (Connie) Hart, Diane (Hart) (late Charles) Muscia, Daniel (Connie) Hart, Debra (Hart) (Robert) Raymond and Judith Pearce (Bruce) Baldinger; beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren Ryan Muscia, Melissa Ferrieri (Douglas), Carrie (Hart) Gamber, Rege (Marti) Passante, Joseph (Beck) Passante, Stephen (Blake) Hart, Robert Raymond, Adam (Pam) Baldinger, Eric Baldinger, 11 great-grandchildren and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Betty worked for Mellon Bank, Mt. Washington Savings and Loan., The Mahogany Shop and was the proud wife of a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter and Stonemason. She was always the first to arrive and the last to leave at any party and loved family gatherings. She had many talents. She could play the piano, sew, crochet and was a great cook and baker.
