Bertha Helen "Honey" Daube, Age 84, of Scott Township, PA., on Monday, April 13, 2020. Beloved daughter of the late Maurice Daube and Helen (Brosky) Daube. Cherished sister of Therese (Daube) Condit; treasured Aunt of Amy Ellen Condit; Honey was also survived by many cousins who will dearly miss her. Honey received a B.S. degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an M.Ed. from The Pennsylvania State University, received the Reading Specialist certificate from Duquesne University, where she had further advanced studies. Honey was proud to serve as Remedial Reading Specialist, at the elementary level, for 43 years in the Chartiers Valley School District. Among her many travel experiences, following retirement, included trips to Kaneohe, Oahu, where she lived for extended periods with Uncle George Brosky. They celebrated their birthdays together with trips through China. Community involvement was very important to Honey. Honey was a lifelong member of the College Club of Carnegie, serving as President three times. Since it's inception, Honey served on Committees of the Pink Pamper Inc., a fundraising group for women with cancer. Honey was also active in the South Park Women's Club, Bethel Woman's Club, the Hilltoppers and Delta Zeta Sorority. Honey was a lifelong member of S.S. Simon & Jude Parish. A devout Christian. Honey exemplified the Beatitudes. Donations in Honey's name can be made to the College Club of Carnegie Scholarship Fund or the pinkpamper.org.
