Bart Rauluk, 61, of Mount Lebanon, was called home to be with our lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Bart was born on August 23, 1963. He was the beloved son of the late Richard and Theresa (Lysien) Rauluk. Loving brother of Valerie (Jim) Rauluk, Tad (Jeryl) Rauluk, Mary Elise (David) Hydinger, Mark (Ruth) Rauluk, Tim (Eileen) Rauluk, Patrick Rauluk and the late Gerard and Lynn Rauluk. He was the cherished uncle of Tad (Michelle) Rauluk, Arianne (Daniel) Eichner, Alexandra Rauluk, Andrew (Ben) Rauluk, Pate (Grant) Rauluk and Rae Rauluk. He was the cherished great uncle of Eero Eichner, Freya Rauluk and Dylan Ferguson. Longtime partner of Roger Graziano and the late Bob Butter. Roger, along with longtime friends Robby Hinds and Ron Julian were with him in his final hours. He is survived by many loving family members and friends.

Bart is a Pittsburgh native, graduating from Shaler Area High School in 1981. Through his high-school career he would costar in South Pacific as Luther Billis in 1980 and West Side Story as Bernardo in 1981. Bart attended New York University where he initially started his academic path in Theater Arts. He would graduate with a Bachelors of Arts from NYU in history and computer science. He would later complete accounting and business administration courses.

Bart had many successes through his lifetime. Bart worked as the controller and director of client services for the public relations firm, Veritas Communications and Advisors for over 19 years. He was the business and renovation project manager for St. Stanislaus Kostka Church for over 12 years.

Previously, Bart had a successful twenty plus year career as an international banker, leaving the industry in 2005. During those years he worked at national and foreign banks living in New York, Boston, Miami, Delaware and Amsterdam. Bart returned to Pittsburgh in 1998 and began working for Mellon Financial Corp, he would be named one of twenty Mellon Star Employees in 2001.

Bart had an expansive presence in the Pittsburgh LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS communities. He was the fiscal director at Persad Center (one of the nation's oldest LGBTQ+ community mental health clinics) for over 4 years. He was a fearless and compassionate leader and longtime board president of Allies for Health + Wellbeing (formerly the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force) for nearly 20 years. In 2006, Bart was a management consultant for the state of Arizona providing recommendations for their Ryan White Part B, a HIV/AIDS program that provides federal grants. In 2018, Bart was honored with the lifetime achievement of the Kerry Stoner Award, named after one of the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force’s founders, in recognition of his enduring commitment to HIV/AIDS justice and care.

 Bart has spent a significant amount of time volunteering his expertise with numerous non-profit organizations. He was the Treasurer for The Pittsburgh Council for International Visitors and Co-Chair of GLSEN Pittsburgh, creating safe school environments free of bullying for K-12.

Bart was very proud of his Catholic faith, it was the foundation of his life. Bart was a great mentor for many. He carried on through his life with honesty, humor, empathy, and a force of compassion. May his contributions, values, and influence continue to shape the future from his legacy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp 15220. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church (Strip District). Burial will be private to the family.
