Barbara J. Foley

Age 91 of Pittsburgh, formerly of Lower Paxton Twp. Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late James R. Foley. Loving Mother of Anita (Norm) Flaherty and James "Mike" (Pam) Foley. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra (Fiance Bobby Wilson) Foley and Michael Foley. Cherished Step Nanny of Joshua (Lindsey) Long, Cinda (John) Maxwell and Melissa (Mark) Vito. Beloved Daughter of the late William B. and Margaret (Boyd) Shupp. Sister of the late Leo and Lawrence Shupp. Also survived by five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker and mother and was an avid reader, gardener and baker. She particularly enjoyed being a grandmother. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Fair Oaks of Pittsburgh, Gallagher Hospice and Gallagher Home Care for their dedication and kindness.
