Age 93, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, November 29, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Ann DiPippa Scotti, with whom they both recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Son of the late Vincenzo and Giovanie Scotti; loving father to Jim (Christine) Scotti and Barbara J. (Tony, Sr.) Penna; loving grandfather to Tony, Christopher, Jamie, Kelly, and Cori; great- grandfather to six great- grandchildren. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, obtaining a degree in civil engineering, the former President of V. Scotti & Sons, Inc., member of St. Margaret of Scotland Church, and a lifelong member of the Alpha Phi Delta fraternity. He was preceded in death by late brothers, Joseph, Adolph and Arthur Scotti; and late sisters, Carmella DellaVecchia and Minnie Zacchero. Friends welcome Tuesday 4-8 p.m., WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, (412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, St. Margaret of Scotland Church.
