'Bernie' (Burke) Hoelzle, father of JoEllen (Gary) Adams, Melissa (Michael) Zalewski, Peter Burke Hoelzle, Kristin Hoelzle, & the late Anthony J. Hoelzle, Jr. Grandfather of Erin, Megan, Ethan, Brittany, Ashley, Greta, Anton, Devin, Paloma, Morinda. 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Hoelzle was a Senior Vice president of Boiler Tube Co. of America, devoted Catholic, Navy veteran of World War II having fought in Normandy, he was raised in the Elliott section of Pittsburgh, and member of the former St. Martins Church (West End), and a 1950 graduate of Duquesne University. Friends welcome Sunday 1-8pm at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Funeral Mass in St. Anne's Church, Monday at 10:30a.m. Interment with military rites in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
