Age 94, of Midland, PA, formerly of Duquesne Heights/Mount Washington area of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015, in the home of her daughter, Jean, with whom she resided. Born July 24, 1921, in Tarrs, PA, Westmoreland County, daughter of Josephine and John Zaporosky. Anna was a waitress for many years providing services at PA-Pitts Diner on Sawmill Run Blvd., Eat'n Park on Banksville Road and 40 years of service at Ritter's Diner on Baum Blvd., Bloomfield from which she retired at the age of 84. Anna loved her sports, Pirates her favorite of all time, along with Penguins and Steelers. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis N. "Pappy" Toth in 2007. Anna and Lewis were married 60 years. Anna is survived by three children, Lawrence Toth of Penn Hills, PA, Jeanie Toth of Mildand, PA, and Barbara Redlinger (Tim) of Imperial, PA; along with nine grandchildren, Christian Toth, Justin Toth (Becky) and Autumn Toth, Stacie (Sisteck) Davey (Tom), Marcie (Sisteck) Sovick (Brandon), Bryan Sisteck (Lori), Todd Emeloff, Stefany (Redlinger) Betschart (Patrick) and Brandon Redlinger; and ten great-grandchildren, Lindsae and Caden Toth, Mallory and Liam Davey, Jaina Sovick, Braden and Genna Sisteck, Jonathan Waltrowski, Greysen Emeloff and Violet Betschart. Her great-grandchildren were the light of her life. In addition to her husband, Anna was preceded in death by five sisters; and one brother. Anna's family wished to convey their thanks to the staff at Gateway Hospice for the wonderful concern and care given to Anna in her time of need.
