Anna Marie Tepe

On October 19, 2014, age 89. Beloved wife of the late John H. "Jack" Tepe, Sr., died peacefully at home, surrounded by family. Loving mother of Mary Ann Buczynski (Randy), Peg Smith, Clare Mazzarini (Dan), John H. "Jack" Tepe, Jr. (the late Laurie Bridwell), William C. "Bill" Tepe (Tricia Connelly), James M. "Jim" Tepe (Karen Kunold), Patty Palmer (Mark), and Dr. Paul G. Tepe (Michelle Vitori); grandmother to 19 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren, and known as "Mom Tepe" by many. Beloved mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend, and caregiver, Anna Marie was a true "Guardian Angel" to more people than we can count. Nothing in life gave her greater joy than spending time with family and friends. A longtime resident of Brookline and Dormont, Anna Marie was a 20 year resident of Canongate Apartments in Whitehall prior to residing with her eldest daughter and her husband. Anna Marie and Jack Tepe were founding parishioners of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Brookline, and later, she belonged to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Catholic Church. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, the Dormont AARP, and a longtime volunteer at UPMC Mercy Hospital.
