Ann Moore Nolan Hoskins

66, of Sewickley (formerly of Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair and St. Simons, Georgia). Ann passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Beloved mother of Fabio (Courtney) Hoskins and Andrew Hoskins. Dearest sister of Jane Nolan (Indru) Punwani and Nancy Nolan (Roland) Wade. Cherished aunt and great aunt to nieces and nephews. Survived by former husband Paul Hoskins (Eilene Henschel). Beloved 'Mom' of her adored cat and best buddy, Serenity. Ann grew up in Mt. Lebanon and later taught English at Mt Lebanon High School. She received both Bachelors and Masters degrees (MSW) from the University of Pittsburgh. For 17 years, Ann lived in St. Simon's, Georgia where she had her own private social work practice. She also was employed at Morningstar Youth Services and Hospice of the Golden Isles. After returning to Pittsburgh, Ann worked at Butler Memorial Hospital and later for Samaritans Counseling Center. We will remember Ann for her love of family, her fun loving spirit and her undaunted courage. She was a woman of deep faith, a wise, compassionate counselor and friend to many. Family and friends will be received Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5 ' 9pm at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 3:00pm at Sewickley Presbyterian Church, 414 Grant Street, Sewickley, PA 15143.
