ALLISON ELIZABETH DEASY
We are heartbroken to announce Allison age 37, of Shadyside, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Allison was the cherished daughter of Richard and Ginny Deasy; the beloved sister of Christopher Deasy; granddaughter of the late Winifred and James Deasy and the late Dominick and Mary Conti; and niece of Linda Conti, Donna Reed, and the late John Deasy. Allison is also survived by many loving cousins. Allison spent her early years in Palos Verdes Estates, CA, lived in Knoxville, TN attending Webb School and graduated from Upper St Clair High School. She was proficient in French and an accomplished musician playing the piano and oboe.
Allison received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/International Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She earned the Senior Leadership Award presented to a graduating senior who is in the top 10% of the class, demonstrates extraordinary leadership and makes a substantial contribution to the Carnegie Mellon Community. Allison also studied International Management at the American Business College of Paris. Following graduation Allison volunteered for AmeriCorps working to improve lives and address local community needs. Her Master of Business Administration (MBA), Strategy and Operations Management was earned from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School. Allison attained her MBA while also working full-time.
Allison was a Senior Associate at KPMG, specializing in Trade Regulations. She held numerous licenses and certifications in Tariff Classification and Environmental Regulations and was a member of Logistics and Supply Chain professionals and Pittsburgh Professional Women.
Allison was an enthusiastic traveler, visiting numerous areas of the United States and Europe for work or to see friends. She navigated the intricacies of professional travel to Samoa in the South Pacific, Guayaquil Ecuador in South America and Dakar Senegal in Africa. She dealt with safety and health concerns with sensibility and grit.
Allison was smart, witty, and loved her family and friends. She always had time for a kind word or to help someone in need. Allison will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
