Alberta went to meet the Lord and her "Nicky" in Heaven on Sunday, August 1, 2021. Born in Troy, New York, on August 22, 1930 to the late Quinto and Helen (Ferrise) Loreti. She grew up in Beechview, attending South Hills High School Class of 1949. She married the "love of her life", Dominic (Nicky) Oliverio, in 1951. Beloved mother of Rodney (Patti) Oliverio of Lima, Ohio, Elena (Keith) Parry of N. Huntingdon and Mark (Andrea) Oliverio of Robinson Twp. Adored Nuni of Daniele (Dave) Prohaska of N. Huntingdon, Justin Parry of N. Huntingdon, Mark Oliverio of Scott Twp and Alec Oliverio of Lawrenceville. She raised her children in Beechview where she lived her life caring for her family. Volunteering at the school cafeteria, being a Home Room Mother, Den mother attending weekly football games for her sons and dancing classes for her daughter. In 1969 the family moved to Scott Twp where she did volunteer week at Kane Hospital running a weekly singing program for the residents. Upon the death of her "Nicky" in 1995 she moved to Irwin to be near her daughter. She took it upon herself to volunteer her services at several nursing homes in the area by starting a singing program there. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in N. Hungtingdon where she was a Christian Mother and worked at the funeral lucheons and fish fry's. She was a member at Penns Woods Civic Center, the Red Hatters and later the Crazy Hat Ladies! She loved singing the old songs, going shopping, exploring fleatiques and decorating her home. In her declining years, she suffered from dementia for over 11 years and was a resident of Golden Heights Personal Care Home in Penn Trafford. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, sister Joyceen Tortella and sister in law Cathy Torchia, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
